ABOUT ME

Jennifer Yip Mei Yee (1992 - present)

Since 2010, I have started my journey to explore Architecture. To me, Architecture is interesting & challenging as it touches every single thing which you will never find a limit on your exploration.

In Year 2013, I am graduated with a Diploma in Architectural Technology at Limkokwing University. During the 3 years of studies, I have learned to appreciate, to judge and to determine whether there is a good design or bad. By mean design, it covers art and architecture. Also, I had to expose myself to skills that I never face before, like model making, renderings, sketching, technical drawings etc. There skills, either manual or digital will would be the stepping stones for us, architect to be a profession.

After I graduated, I did work in an architect firm, named Soon Chai architect for a period of about 4 months. My point of view, working is the best way to learn and experience. That's why I denied to continue my degree straight ahead. To be honest, I actually see more and learn more during my 4 months experience in the firm than my 3 years of study during my diploma. Practical is really very important, especiallly to students.

I then enter UCSI university in Year 2014 to continue my study. It will takes me 2 years to finish my degree Part 1, Bachelor of Science (honours) in Architecture. I am looking forward for more adventure in my degree and after degree. Definately, I will not just stop my journey after this degree. So, more will be coming. View my CV
